We are running the aeroquip black push lock fittings with glide with brake and had no problems in 3 years. I have been told if you use the blue hose you need to use the locking rings as the heat stretchs the blue hose. John

aeroquip blue hose (350psi rated I believe... have to go out & look @ the stuff on the wall) & aeroquip push-loc fittings on all my fuel & tranny lines. No problems in 3 years.

We've used Push loc's in the past. We also use a crimp on style hose clamp with them to be on the safe side. No problems.

I have the blue push lock on my trans cooler and my remote oil filter we will see how it does but it is much nicer to work with than the braided stainless as long as I have no problems with it I will never use braided stainless again.

imho i would not use push loc hose for this application...blow one off at speed and it won't look like such a good deal
Absolutely, positively. There is no way I would use pushlock here. NO WAY!
