i did coz i was told they'll never fail. WRONG! the hot fluid popped it off whilst the brake was on. luckily i didn't release the brake or i coulda had armco rash on my dart. only use the reusable fittings now with braided line. once bitten ....

i've had 2 failures with the pushloks vern. the first was with the external oiling on my indy heads, spewed oil everywhere, changed them to braided hose & fittings. the second was with the trans, shop man said the oil lines must have been badly assembled & he fitted my pushloks himself & told me they'll never fail. BS. he did take them back tho & credited me against the braided lines. maybe i'm just unlucky or maybe the fittings i bought were chineese knock offs , but i'm staying away from pushloks forever now.

We are running the aeroquip black push lock fittings with glide with brake and had no problems in 3 years. I have been told if you use the blue hose you need to use the locking rings as the heat stretchs the blue hose. John

aeroquip blue hose (350psi rated I believe... have to go out & look @ the stuff on the wall) & aeroquip push-loc fittings on all my fuel & tranny lines. No problems in 3 years.

first off if you t-brake has 250 psi that is line pressure not cooler flow/pressure you probably have no more than 35-40 psi in cooler lines.

We've used Push loc's in the past. We also use a crimp on style hose clamp with them to be on the safe side. No problems.

for the difference in price i'll stick with the braided line and have peace of mind.

I have the blue push lock on my trans cooler and my remote oil filter we will see how it does but it is much nicer to work with than the braided stainless as long as I have no problems with it I will never use braided stainless again.

The stuff looks nice ..I all the colors .and sounds like it be easy to work with..But I can not take the chance with others Lives..If it was just me and me only driving..I would try it..I might try alittle somewhere.

Absolutely, positively. There is no way I would use pushlock here. NO WAY!

I use the Aeroquip socketless hose for most everything these days. Seems to work just fine and I've never seen any issue with fittings coming loose.
