I was just informed last night of this by his close friend here Dave C.
Really saddening news.
Rick was a great guy and I always enjoyed chatting with him at Carlisle.
I will miss seeing him

Very sad news , I got a text last night about this and I was floored. I haven't seen Rick in a couple of years but he was a great guy that would do anything for you. I met him thhru the board but my first face to face was at Carlisle a number of years ago, I needed a room and he was gracious enough to split his room with me , didn't know me except thru the board.

You will be missed my friend, RIP. angel

That was well said Eric.

Rick was one of the good guys, a great friend and someone I am having a really tough time trying to say goodbye to.

Rest Easy Richard.

This is terrible news. Rick was one of the good guys, for sure. We hadn't seen each other for a couple years, but still exchanged barbs about each other's (old man) hockey play. I will miss him dearly. Prayers for Tina and his family. RIP buddy!!
