I would just redo the weld job on the intake manifold. I usually set the piece to block off the flow below the sealing surface and have it welded in there. That way when/if the manifold gets milled most of the weld remains untouched.

On my LA's I just fill the crossover port about 1/2" in the intake with JBWeld. Never had a problem.

Kinda difficult to make that fit a small block I'd guess? LOL! yes, I have a small block and that valley pan wont fit
It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
