How long is an SFI rating good for?

I have a trans blanket, with a rating of 4.1, made in Dec of 07.

I'll run the the one I just bought (used) till they crawl under there and tell me I need a new one


Then I thnik I'll lower the car a little more

The flexible 4.1 shields are good for 2 years. Most manufacturers will retag them when expired.
