Absolutely the BEST track director I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I raced there for a few years, and got to know him even better after I started announcing at Indy and hanging out with the track operators.

The Joilet track was always known for a fast track and ran like clockwork.

He will be missed here - I heard he moved on after dang pencil pushers (accountants) eliminated his position to save money. Poor decision in my opinion. Really don't think they can find anyone as qualified or dedicated to the racers to replace him.

Thats's awesome! I've been trying to find out some info about him. So far I've heard nothing but good things.

This will be great for pacific raceways. They have the facility just never had the right guy to run it!

Chris is a good guy. He did well running RT66 with the limitations the owners put the track under. He will do well if your track owners let him. (I've heard the ownership out there is a bunch of tools)

Chris is a good guy, we battled him at times but overall he is a racer. He was very limited because of the Corporate structure at Rt.66 and Chicagoland Speedway. He's in the racing action all day when the track is open.

An example is he had 9 races for T/S this year after he left they cut it down to 5. Rt.66 always had 20+ T&T and now only 4!

This is Very good news to hear, The track up here could really use someone like him to turn it around.

Hopefully they let him do his thing and run the track the way it should be run.

And yes, the owners are "tools" to say the least.
