Sometime ago people were asking about the C-11 10.5 tire.I finally threw a set on to try at the armdrop race at Palm Beach International.I have tried 29x 11 and all the 29 10.5 tires from Hoosier. The first time up I pull through the waterbox for a burnout and can barely turn the tire.Take off and the front goes to high running 1.395 60' 6.302@108.77 1/8 10.1 @113.59 1/4 The guy in a nitrous mustang,I just raced says he has been racing 40 years and knows iam sandbagging.I agree and said its a bracket car.I tighten my front shocks, loosen the rear and take the preload out of the CalTracs and go up again, this time against a nitous Camero.I pulled into the waterbox this time and do a burnout in the water letting it slowly move out.The front end still comes up running 6.209 @ 112 1/8. 9.994 @112.57 1/4 The Chevy guy who ran 10.000 @138.03 hunts me down to let me know iam sandbagging and wants to see how much nitrous I shoot.I smile and said its a 440 bracket car,no nitrous.Well anyway the c-11 tire is the best I have used, didnt win the race as they put me up against my best friend who could only go 10.2 so I let him win as I am a good sport.

I assume your rear springs are moved in to the
frame rail?

Sounds like a good tire and I`m surprised loosening the rear shocks actually made it hook better. I sure wish I had your 1/8th mph.

Iam sorry I loosen to hook less not more to get some tire speed up and my point was that the c-11's keep hookin.I needed way more air in then also but didnt know that till I looked at photo's after the race.

How much stripe did he take on you? Or rather, how much did you let him get past you...

I kept my front even with his door,so a fender I quess as they dont give a time slip for the race.I had to do this two times as they gave us a bye in the first round.
