I don't have any pictures of it, but when I had two new Edel. 750s on my 68 Hemi Charger the factory stock linkage worked just fine.

When I bought the 68 hemi Charger it had been a victim of the two Mopar thieving brothers that plegued the northeastern states. They had stolen the very rare Nascar intake that was on the car at the time as well as the original intake and carbs that were in the trunk of the car.
I purchased an original intake and bought new repro linkage from Hemispherical Products and it fit without modification set up as the factory progressive.

how did you set it up progressivly ? adaptors readily available , or make shift ?

I dug around in my 68 Hemi Charger file and came up with these. One of these is a scan of a photocopied pictures so the quality is not real good. In fact, the quality is not real good on any of these. When the came in from my scanner to my photo program they were HUGE and I left them that way as they are a lot easier to read. Be prepared for this when you capture the picture in your photo program.

Jim,
I never have a problem with helping ANYBODY as long as they are not attacking me personally. It takes a lot to make me mad, and when I do I get real quite, like the calm before the storm. It is a good thing I am sitting behind a keyboard because when I do lose my temper you DON'T want to be in the same room with me. After I blow up, it is over and i don't hold a grudge

Everbody is entitled to their own opinion of me. I understand that it is hard to interpet tone and feeling of people when you are reading the written word. I really hold no grudge with anyone on this board and I think many would have a changed opinion of me if the met me in person and were around me for a little while.

thanks , thats a progressive linkage , but if you look closely you'll see its setup so that they pull at the same time .

John, a freind of mine used the setup from Necombs with his hemi using the eddys. It runs like a scaulded dog. I had no trouble tunning the carbs and getting it to run smooth from idle to full throttle, and its a 4 speed.

john, moparmark has the edelbrock progressive linkage in both photos. the hemi just needs the linkage moved down to the smaller hole to be progressive(note the 2nd photo of the ch28 dual quad). that is pretty good linkage. add the edelbrock throttle adapter on the rear carb and all stock kickdown linkage can be used.

No. The primeries on the rear carb open before the primeries and the front carb. The little black block is off of the rear brass block.

i see it being progressive on the second pic , i don't have an eddie carb in my hand to compare the linkage . in the first pic on the hemi engine the linkage looks like its on the top big hole on both carbs and the black slide collar is all the way to the rear making both carbs open at the same time and speed . but it just may be an illusion because of the angle of the pic and the distance from the carb

the pic 66hemi attached shows me better what to do once i get a couple of carbs on the mainfold at home and compare it to the pic .
