I am looking for a pair of rims for my slicks and was wondering if anyone knows anything about these and if they would work? They are made by Aero.

I dont see why the wouldnt work. I have a set of Hoosier Quick times mounted on Chrysler Fifth Ave 15x 7 rims and the ones you are looking at are no different except maybe a little less weight.

416 stroker from Nick at Compu-flow. 11.14 in full street trim. Seems like a new best every time out.
11.06 open headers----so far!!

I was wondering if there is a difference between regular rims and oval track race car rims.

Those rims have a 1/2 inch negative inset, make sure they will clear the springs and inner wheel tub

I have seen a lot of those on drag cars.

Is your Duster the small bolt pattern? I would be inclined to look for a pair of welds or centerlines used. Also, if you have a pair of 14" rally's laying around, you can knock the center out of them and weld them to a chevy 15 X 8.

Darren H's dad showed me how he did this 25 years ago.

I run aero's on my challenger . You will however need to use 45 deg. lug nuts. also that rim is drilled for 5/8 " studs, not a problem if you use the large Howe 1/2" 45 deg. nuts.

If you want to use 60 deg. lug nuts, Diamond racing wheels will make the centers too fit. also Diamond will make any backspacing you need. aero's are only backspaced on the 1/2". Diamonds are about the same price as the Aero's.

Either of these wheels are very strong, inexpensive, and look good as well.
