I have a Doug Nash in my B body car. You have to cut out the torsion bar crossmember and some of the floor. No big deal for a street rod type fabrication place.

Might be a good idea to switch to an AlterK type of front end and ditch the T bars. Then it doesn't matter that the cross member is gone and you get the strength back with a tranny crossmember instead.

What are you running now?

I am in need of a race 4-speed setup! I do not want to cut up the floor.

I had a Doug Nash in the dart and had to cut the crossmember and modified the shifter hole ~ 1" if I remember correctly. I fabbed a trans mount out of 1 1/2 square tubing off of the subframe connectors. Make sure you get the DN with the countershaft support bearing they hold up better.

I made two cuts on the crossmember at the same angle of the driveshaft tunnel and used a air hammer to cut the spot welds on the floor pan took about 15 min tops.
