Easy swap major modifications, i'd like to know, thinking of rowin five Thanks it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

AndyF I Win A Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 30,989 Oregon	I have a Doug Nash in my B body car. You have to cut out the torsion bar crossmember and some of the floor. No big deal for a street rod type fabrication place. Might be a good idea to switch to an AlterK type of front end and ditch the T bars. Then it doesn't matter that the cross member is gone and you get the strength back with a tranny crossmember instead.

I fabbed a trans mount out of 1 1/2 square tubing off of the subframe connectors. Make sure you get the DN with the countershaft support bearing they hold up better.
