on your car I would probably just do gloss black. A dark gray could look good also

I have a glaxy grey on it now. Do you think that black on black would be to much?

dark grey, dark bronze, a charcoal metallic, a deep burgundy, whatever secondary color works with the drivetrain, interior
and wheels. I like dark cages, easier to look through; painted mine B7 suede (B5 car in/out).

I think a high gloss black with red, and or silver pearl would make the cage look cool with all the bends, bringing out the pearl as the light goes over the round tubes. It would be subtle, but neat to look at I think.

when i repaint the cage in my car eventually, im going to do that hammertone stuff. its the dark grey /silver/ black.

i think that would look awesome in your car, like the pro mod cages etc.

Since I'm nuts about the car anyway i wanted to add to my last comment about gloss black with pearl. In all the wear areas you nick up getting in and out, and where the belt hardware hits put those polished stainless tubing guards over the tubing to accent them further. The tin work will throw a bunch of light around in the car making the pearl work.

Please post some pics of whatever you decide. I never get tired of seeing it.

I did my chassis with gloss black with clear coat
with silver metallic in the clear... I liked it,
gave it some sparkle

Black on Black is never a mistake, but I also like the idea of maybe some violet pearl mixed in just to set it off a bit in the right sun.
