Look, its not worth the bs here, mine are 220 cc castings....I start with raw castings.

If you think I'm making $1000 a set you are out of your mind.

If your not your doing it wrong.

Do I need to post port info, flow numbers, track numbers.

Rod, your beating a dead horse here. You have nice castings, so if im wrong about your cost then im wrong.

You act like there is only one head god and one guy who can do a quality valve job whole country.

No one has a patent on any of this junk...so good luck to ya.

Man, I haven't been on here in ages and do a search on the BPE heads and THIS is what I see???

Rod, bless you for doing what you did to help the SBM cylinder head game...I cannot believe some people would try to knock you down like that, and furthermore that people are foolish enough to agree....then we wonder WHY nothing new gets developed for Mopars

When these came out and I saw them, if I didn't already have my Indy 360-2's, I would be buying these. All the right people involved in their development and production!

Good luck, thank you for supporting, and I look forward to seeing how they perform for people!

I'm looking forward to seeing a few builds with these heads, still might get a set I just don't want to be first.

Congrats, Rod!

I don't get it, if it weren't for China all stroker Cranks would still be what $1200-1500 and a set of rods would be $800-$1000/set. And if we didn't have inexpensive stoker cranks and kits..... there wouldn't be the market demand for all the better flowing heads we have today. people tend to forget, there were stroker cranks available back in the 60's and 70's...hardly anyone built them because they were too expensive!

I've been a MoPar guy for 37 years, if there is one thing that has been consistently true for people wanting to enter the mopar market with new affordable products and add enthusiasm to a relatively small market...it is "No good deed goes unpunished!"

congratulations Rod, Had Iknown these were coming I would have waited for them on my last project.

If you guys would just read between the lines you could see where EV2bird evidently can sell you a set just like em for $1200 (plus a fair prophit of what $100?) that is equally as good.

Wish I had $2200 sitting around rod I would redrill some magnum intake bolt holes on em and stick a pair on my 410 stroker dakota motor.

No Dave thats not what im saying at all I dont sell heads. The heads I do are simply for racer friends and I dont make dick.

If you read between the lines I simply say these are great castings being offered here, my only complaint was the cost because I know what a run from the china side costs.

I hope that clears it up.

Thank you to all that have encouraging words for what I am trying to do. In the next few months we will be building an engine utilizing both versions of heads and then we will dyno them back to back over a couple of days. This will be a 421" using one of my 4.125" kits in a stock 360 block on pump gas and some of the parts I've accumulated over the past few years. We are not looking for every ounce of power just, wanting to show what can be expected from an average build.

I wish I had better news to report but, it is what it is. The engine was built and hauled 7 hours one way, only to have issues with the dyno for 3 straight days. We broke the engine in without issue and then everything went to hell. It wouldn't hold the engine at a reasonable RPM to get any usable information. The air / fuel numbers were all over the place and made little to no sense. The dyno would get a hold of the engine but, as soon as the RPM started to climb, it would just let go of it then try to grab it again. We tryed the valve on the back but, it was froze up and wouldn't turn either direction. With several failed attempts at getting a hold of anyone at Superflow we finally gave up.

Are these only for 59 degree blocks, or can they be made to work with 48 degree blocks? I bought a NOS 48 degree R block back in January, and I'm not sure that I want to step all the way up to a W9 head. These heads look like they might be a better fit for me.

I have not tried to get this engine back on a dyno, it's currently sitting on the stand. Yes, these heads are only for 59ยบ engines.
