How do I find out how many 1969 rr's came with a 4 spd and console with bucket seats? I have the broadcast seat and someone told me it was correct.

Never seen a '69 RR with a console, I think consoles only came in GTX's. RR's got buddy seats as an option. And they didn't come with floor shifted automatics either - which would have been in a console.

You may have never seen one but Chrysler did build them. Console was an option with both Automatic and 4 speed in 69 on the road runner no matter the engine. .

There is no way to get an exact number, only an estimate if the percentages are known.

Chrysler records only listed a percentage on options and it was only on each single option not on option combinations of options.

I've been around Mopar long enough to know that you never say never. A 4 speed console was available in a 69 Sport Satellite and a 69 4 speed GTX, and 4 speed consoles were available with the 70 Road Runners. To say no one checked the right box on the order form and got a 69 4 speed Road Runner would be a bit unrealistic. There may not have been many, but I suspect a few escaped the factory with them. Well I don't know either but I have been to the Mopar Nationals 5 times since I have owned this car and only saw 1 car the same color as mine with the interior and console with 4 spd so I was just curious. I know back then you could just about order anything you want. I do have the broadcast sheet for this car and someone told me that Well I looked on the broadcast sheet and this is what it tells me but I do not know the codes.

2. console 16
3. seats 5
special order 4

One could certainly order buckets and/or console on a '69 Road Runner. Not in '68, though, those were all bench seat cars.
Fairly rare, but they're out there.
As stated, no exact count is known, only % of production when it comes to options. I don't have that info for '69, but I'm sure someone here or on the Allpar site does.

1. Group 87 = A87 RR Décor package - so, you have a RR coupe (RM21)
2. console 16 = C16, center console
3. seats 5 = C55, bucket seats
special order 4 sounds like the top line skipped a digit = Y14, "SOLD" car (ordered)

almost 20,000 (US spec) '69 Road Runners with bucket seats (23.6%)
11,000+ of those with a console (13.7%)

We know that '68 HT RRs included Decor Group, but there's a '69 RR HT I recall in Burbank, CA: R6 with black base (Belvedere) seats & side trim panels. It was original paint best I can recall - I was checking it out to buy but bought another car instead - but the interior was kind of a surprise. Very low-option car. So, I've never been certain that '69 HTs included the Decor Group.
Every indication was that the interior was original, and there was almost zero MoPar resto stuff, but it could be that the stuff was swapped.
Whaddya know on this?

since it was a mid-year OPTION for '68 there is little documentation on how it was worded, but AFAIK A87 was only available on RM21s.

then the hardtops came along & some of the components of A87 were STANDARD on RM23 (& RM27 once 1969 model year arrived)

..... but YES, all '69 RM23s should have the H2_ interior STANDARD (not the base coupe's M2_ interior)

end of year build outs may stray from the norm, and lots happen as far as parts swaps - even on nearly new or couple year old cars
