I find this quote rather interesting.
" If a team had been able to make all 36 Cup races last season and finish in the least-paying position, it would have won $2,880,640 in purse money."
Too bad their is this thing called expenses.

no you don't have to qualify. you just have to stay in the top 25. you can qualify with a speed on 1 mph as long as your in the top 35 you make the show

Good point! he qualifying system for any NASCAR race IMO needs revision. If you want to race, you have to qualify. If you can't qualify, it is on the trailer. No matter who you are. No provisionals.
