Your car will haul there since that track is something like 300 feet above sea level. Sorry, I can't go. I only get one weekend off each month and that is not one of them. I sincerely would go though as I haven't even been able to run a quarter mile with the Valiant yet. You're killing me!

Ron, you spend way too much time at work!
I'll be interested in the 21st if I can get the new fuel system and wiring finished by then.

Sorry you cant make it Ron but you`ve already been in the 9`s now it`s my turn. Hopefully you`ll sort out your fuel system and wiring and we can hang. I`m absolutely jonesing to run and mostly to shut up some of these haters who say "It`s not a nine till it`s on paper". Soon baby soon........

200 cars aint too bad to me compared to what we`re used to out here. I`m not sure about spending the night actually, I know nothing about the track as I`ve neve been there.

You can and should spend the night at the track....they allow firepits at the track...so bring your old wash tub or firepit and enjoy...as far as the 200 car count there will be alot of TF and NFC and 7.0 index cars running...so the track may see alot of down time for clean up.... ..It looks like I'll be there with the new Fiat altered and the Dart...got my fingers crossed that it all works out.

Better make sure you're equipped for a 9.99. They will toss you if you exceed your limit. That weekend should be choked with nostalgia cars prepping for the March Meet. If the weather holds it should be a fantastic weekend. If you are jetted for it this will be your fastest pass of the year. We probably won't see air this good after that until Oct/Nov in Bakersfield. Although track elevation is 300' it is common to race in 3000' plus. We will probably have early morning air in the 800-900 range which is awesome.

I raced Ed Marsten in that 67 Chevelle back in the early 90s at Famoso. He was a great guy and a killer in that Chevy. I haven't seen him in years though but we've been racing 1/8 mile in Mississippi until we moved back to Famoso this year.
