When I add the front tubes, to stiffen the front, where should they be attached to on the front frame rail?
1. Behind the engine plate ontop of the frame rail? Not much room.

2. In front of the engine plate and ontop of the frame rail? It would have to be about 2" ahead to allow clearanc.

3. Or beside the engine plate, and side of the frame rail? Easiest location.

Damn! I dropped my change.............

I would drop it on the back edge(on part of the mount)
of the front motor plate

Well if its easier to go forward then put it in up
there but if you do this you wont be abile to pull
the engine easily(the bars will be in the way)

I was concerned that your choice was a 'strength' issue. Apparently, y'all just looking out for me. This is temperary,so I'm looking to remove it when I put the cage in, and do it all over again. Thanks.

Would the side work for you? That's what I did on my car because I didn't want the bars in the engine compartment.

i'm not 100% sure but i think it was written in the mopar chassis book. the front bars should join the main chassis rail at the same point the front K frame bolts join to the chassis rail. this is where my front bars go & most well built mopars i've seen are there as well.
