Hi guys
I'm wondering how hard it is to change the water pump on a 08 ram 5.7.. Any suggestion?

the most un-common tool needed is the fan nut wrench.

I changed one on a 5.7 Durango. Agree the fan nut wrench can be important. Certain years (mine) the fan nut was loctited to the WP. I don't not know why. All the usual tricks to get it off did not work and I rented a fan nut wrench and made a holding tool to get it off.

Leaving the belt on and striking the fan wrench with a hammer has always worked for me.

I never had any luck with the hammer.. I might give it a go..
