Expected weight increase from going from 6 point roll bar 1 3/4. To 10 point roll cage 1 5/8 mild steel.

I'm pretty sure you need to go .134 wall and if so
its 2.133 lbs/ft.... take a guess at how many feet
you will need

thanks for the information Mr P. That is heavy stuff. I am going .134 wall for the tubing. Any idea what 1 3/4 .135 wall weighs a foot ?

Hoop and down bars around 18 feet total. Close to 40 lbs I guess less the weight the lighter wieght of the 1 5/8 tubing of the rest of the cage.

2.328 lbs/ft for 1 3/4 .135 wall. Heres what I use
for the weight

In mild steel .134" is used if it electric welded tubing. If you use D.O.M., you can use .120". It is more costly.
