I was just curious who has been to a Drag Racing School, one like Roy Hill's or Frank Hawley's. What can you say about it.

I went to Frank Hawley's school the summer before last. Excellent experience. Equipment is top notch (other than it is all cheby powered.) Along with the driving experience and critique of each of your runs, Frank goes in depth on the mental side and physiology of racing. There were several NHRA class and sprotsman drivers that came and paid for just the class room sessions.

I had a great time and would do it again.

What's it cost to take a super comp dragster
class? $1500-2500? You can't even rent an
8 second ride let alone build one for the price.

I think he has some alcohol dragster classes too.
Wanna go fast for cheap, go see Frank Hawley!

When I went, the class was $1,800. This includes 6 runs starting at short lenghts, graduating up to full runs. The class and sportsman drivers paid $500 for the class room lectures which is included in the price of the super comp class. At the end of the second day, you can purchase additional runs. They were $200 each.

I took the clsss for the experiance, and to see if I would be comfortable in a dragster.

As I said, it was a great experience. You are right, you can't touch the cost of driving these types of cars.
