Going to order all the stuff for a pump for the Dart, and I don't know what pulley set up to get. One of my buddies has the v-belt set up and another buddy has the Gilmer? What's better and why? What do you have? Thanks Guys!

I am using a gilmer belt. The crank pulley and drive parts are from Peterson.

Is the gilmer better? Just because it has teeth to not slip? The pulleys and the belts are a little more spendy for the Gilmer, but if that's what's better, the little bit of money is not an issue. Just don't know what to put on.

With the gilmer you don't have to put some much strain on the pump to keep the belt from slipping.

get the gilmer

The Moroso pump doesnt come with a pulley on it when you buy just the pump. But I did look at the complete kits, and they show the gilmer pulleys. I guess that's what it will get. Thanks!
