I figure more looks at the tree won't hurt my driving abilities.

What kind of practice tree would you guys recommend? Been looking at the Biondo Final Round 4. If nothing else I can play with it when we are getting rained on at the track, which happens quite a lot out here in Seattle.

I've got the old Final Round II and it works just
fine, I think you'd be happy with the IV and if you
want you can hook up a full size tree to it(pricey)

I have the Port-A-Tree. It would be a lot better practice, if the hand
held buttons they send you didn't SUCK! I'm going to wire it to the
button in my car.

Port a Tree sells a foot pedal for their system. Get the one that is for a manual tranny. You then practice just like a two step on the brake pedal. I love mine.

I was going to put two 1/4" jacks in the dash, one to the
tran-brake and one for the practice tree. Then, I could
just plug my delay box into either one, using the button
in the car and the delay box.

You could do the same thing, except you only need a jack
that alternates between your 2-step and practice tree.

.......unless you have a momentary switch in place of
the brake light switch that closes the circuit with the
button UP. Then you'll have to settle for the foot switch
they sell or put a hand button in the car.

Just got an "Eliminator" for Christmas. It's great. Keeps track of averages, personalized settings, etc...

My Dad has had one for 10+ years. Top notch customer service too...
