What were the 1971 AHRA Pro Stock weight breaks? I have heard that AHRA was the first to allow other non Hemi cars to run with a lighter weight. Thanks.

I thought the AHRA Pro Stock weight rules were the same as NHRA in the 70 to 72 era. Ron

Yes thats right but they still had weight rules which is I thought what he was asking. I believe NHRA was 7 lbs per cubic inch for all cars in 70 , 71 and 72. And I thought AHRA was the same. Ron

NHRA P/S rules changed in 1972
That's when Grumpy debuted his SRD built Vega
Breaks were 6.5 inline, 6.75 canted, 7.0 hemi

at least that's the way I recall it
