I have a 73 Duster with a stock AM radio and a cheapy aftermarket antenna. I want to replace it with the correct one. My question is, which antenna would be correct for this car. The solid one piece mast or the 3 section pull up unit? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

The one piece mast was 'new for '72, so it is what you want.

Barry, I have a filmstrip of the 1970 Barracuda new model introduction and it shows a guy bending the one piece antenna to double and it snaps back into shape. Was this not put out in 1970?

Third line down, second box from left at http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/ServiceHighlights/1972PassengerCarHighlights03.shtml

Note the word 'new'.
