Im trying to decide on wheels for my 74 prostreet cuda. Im riding the fence on a set of alum(s)like convo pros, torque thrusts, etc. or an old set of black steelies with dogpans. The car is red with a black hood and black taillight bezel. The rear wheels would be 10' and the front would be 5-6'. The old style would look mean but the new alums would be pretty. He** I cant decide. What do yall like?

The best ones I like are Aluma Star 2.0's from
Weld, I just wish they would come in 18" or even
20" size.
The Billet Specialty wheels look good also.
18" wheels will look good on your ride.

You could do new and old both and change up the look
from time to time.

Snap your neck, mega G-force launch, is all I want!

I like the color matched steel rims with dog dish caps. I used the cop rims on mine.

Very hard to find nice wheels to match our cars style guys...

That´s what I think...

I like them original, magnum 500 and Billet Specialties like those one above..... but.. still very hard to find the perfect ones...

I absolutly love those billet specialty street lite wheels. Anyone have any pics of them on a charger?

Old school. There's just something wierd looking about Hot Wheels rims on a classic Mopar - leave them to the Brand X crowd. Those 'dubs' are about as appealing as the 12" rims on mini-trucks.

Rims are NEVER an easy choice! I went with 10" Mopar Cop Rims when I first did my Fury, I love the look of Dog Dishes and Steel...But THEN I also picked up a set of AlumaStars which I monted slicks on and drove to a few car shows with. IMO the flashy rims did draw more people to the car but the steels gave it much more of a sleeper look! Then again modified steelies cost almost as much as some new school stuff!

Not sure if this will help or hinder!

Good luck

When it comes to wheels, i perfer either the old school, or a new design. Dont really get into the aftermarket designs from the 80's. Whats cool with wheels is you can get a little creative without ruining the car, wheels are always an easy fix. One of the reasons i also went with an aftermarket wheel was i didn't want to cover up and hide my too much money brakes.

Hemi, I love that look, is that powdercoat or anodized? I have plans on doing the center of my AlumaStars in black... they looks really good on your car

We run both, but since I like young pretty girls around my car I tend to lean towards the new wheels.
