We are switching to a low deck for the upcoming season. I would like to use our MSD Pro Billet RB distributor in our new B block. I have heard that the MSD distributor will not work with the Mopar adapter without modifying the adapter? Anyone know exactly what needs to be modified or have another way to make this work? Also who has the best price on the adapter? Summit wants $67+ for it! and on top of that I have to have it modified!!

yeah, it is a pain. The modification is pretty easy to do on a lathe, you just need to put a big radius on the end to clear the radius on the bottom of the MSD unit. It is a 5 minute job at a machine shop but it is a hassle. Not sure why MP wouldn't just fix their part to work with the MSD distributor but they haven't.

Watch out. If you are using a indy max block the short deck uses the RB distributer. Ask me how i know!

If this is true I am a happy man!! Low deck indy block is what we are using.

I bought my offset one from predator for a short deck, 2 months later I'm checking my oil pump drive end play and my distributer is short. Good guys there didn't charge me for the mistake (or lack of information from the block maker and the guys i bought it from)

Why are you not getting a offset one? Sweet part and it uses the big cap. Plus it has the pickup in itif yuor crank trigger ever takes a dump at the track:

We already have the RB distributor and we wanted to reuse it if possible.
