Does the hex adustment Bushing normally stickout this much, maybe 1/4", from the face of the gear surface? See below.
When I installed this I couldn't remember if it was like this or if it was supposed to be flush with the gear.
Anyway, when I pulled the inspection cover off I noticed interferance with it and the back of cover. I machined a groove for the button but didn't realize the bushing would hit the back of cover. I can clearance for the bushing now but want to make sure the it isn't supposed to be flush.

The hex bushing protrudes through the gear, it's less than a 1/4" but it's out there pretty good...

This cover does create some clearance problems with a roller cam. The inspection cover is thick so I had to clearance for the button and go to shallow head bolts tor the cam. This is the one from MagnumHP.
