I just picked up this survivor 1972 Demon 340, console auto, ALL ORIGINAL PAINT and STRIPES, original interior, ALL numbers matching, V21 performance hood treatment, J54 sport hood with scoops, 2 broadcast sheets and only 49K actual miles. It was also ordered new by a military man overseas and built for export. I met the owner who had the car from 1974 to 2007. He traded in a Swinger on it when he bought it used in '74. He drove it sparingly for about 10 years and then it sat idle in storage for the next 23 years. When it changed hands in '07 a wall had to be taken down to remove the car. I have got to believe that it has to be one of the nicest all original factory "H" code Demon 340 cars left in the world! It's in GREAT original condition and runs and drives perfect.

Thanks,
Eric

Engine... Do you think I should leave it original or do some touching up in here?

I would re-paint the engine only and then just clean everything else up. What an awesome find Demons are my favorite!

Beautiful car! Can you take some better detailed pics? If you take a bunch and put them on a CD I'd be first in line to buy a copy????

I had a ? about the hood blackout on the hood and cowl. Is it half tape (smaller stripes) and half paint (the large blackout area)?

Yes, on the V21 performance hood treatment the outside edges are tape stripes and the center appears to be paint.

Wow, great find. I would take a ton of pics, then re-paint the engine and do some detailing.

BTW, any idea who made those floormats with the bumblebee stripes on 'em. Those are totally boss.

It is slightly textured, maybe smoothed out some over time. Looks good though!!!

Yes, the previous owner is a friend of mine and we worked out a deal on it and agreed that it would be for sale again right away.
