I installed monoleafs and my car and had caltrac move the rearend centering pin 1inch back. The 28in tall tire was a inch away from the front wheel well and the right tire would hit the front wheelwell. So now the rear sits back more but now the driveshaft sticks out of the tranny alittle more. How far can the driveshaft stick out of the back of the tranny without breaking something?

About 3/4" max
EDIT
as it would sit on the ground (curb height)

Mr P Body is right and he know his stuff .With that said on my car I had a new shaft made measured everything 4 times (iam anal) talked to the company on the phone and said I did it right. My shaft pushed all the way in the tranny sticks out 3/4in and hooked up at rest is at 1-1/4in out.All is good but that is with a aftermarket yoke.Is it right I dont know.
