that's quite a combo. what octane pump gas and how much power? what did you detune it to? with all the 1500-2000 horsepower pump gas motors these days it's a wonder anybody uses race gas anymore.

As it's been posted before https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...e=5#Post4951221 That's a lot of steam Just outta curiosity did Steve Morris build this engine with SMRE or new era race craft.
Steve Morris didn't build this one. He hasn't actually worked here since last September. Unfortunately, we are stuck with his name as our business name for a period of time. That's why we are just using SMRE Performance with a new logo, in an attempt to transition the business. Apparently, this happens frequently in this industry. Every once in a while, somebody will call up here and ask for him and which point, we have to go through the whole "well actually he hasn't owned the business since 2006, explanation". Our apologies if this is confusing.

It was 93 octane. The customer wanted it tuned to about 1800HP on pump gas. He's planning on driving this on the street and using race gas at the track.
