Quick Fuel, you might want to talk to them to get
the proper size carb. I sent them my 1050 dom to
re-work to a E-85, its been great

Now the big question was their any performance improvement going from gas to E-85 or just $$$.
Might bump my compression and convert my old dominator. How much did they charge to do the conversion

I'm not done tuning on my set up but with just the
jetting my car is the same(to the hundredth) and I
still havent dialed up timing yet. The big thing
about the E-85 is cost and cooling. It cost me about
1/4 of race fuel even with the increase of volume used.
And the side effect of the E-85 is that it runs cooler
in the engine

How do you change the boosters in a Dominator carb? What tools do you need? I see that kit comes with new boosters.

Jim the boosters are held in by hollow pins that you use a screw to pull them out. Then tap in the new pins after you slide the boosters in place.
I see they include new pins in the bag next to the upper lefthand corner of the gaskets.
It's easy to do, and the boosters align themselves by the slots in the mainbody. Don

Thanks,
That is much easier than a Holley 4150 carb. Those have a swedge that needs a special tool to align and hold the booster, while expanding the insert.
