What is the correct engine color for my 1968 W200 long bed - 318 with 4 speed? 68 Car paint codes show 'red'. The engine is original as far as I know...but looks blue / torquoise...

Got a pic? I have two 68 D300's with their original 318's but never really looked at the paint color, but I can check them out in the next couple of days. wave

Red. 69 was when they went to Blue/Turquoise. Anything is possible though and yours could have factory paint.

Don't know if this helps, but my 68 D100's 383 is red & here's a pic.
