I installed mine with no issues/alterations: 1969 Super Bee.
1969 Y2 Super Bee 1959 Coronet 4 dr Sedan

same here except I welded mine in. that my plan once i know i have them installed correctly. You can easily make your own for 20 bucks if you have a welder, tape measure, grinder and cutoff wheel. After I received my Competition Engineering connectors fifteen years ago, I told myself, never again would I pay 150 bucks for what is nothing more than two four foot lengths of 1.5x2 with a flat plate on one end and a simple three sided box on the other.

I installed them on my Duster, easy to install and I plan on having my buddy weld them on next time my car is in his garage.

Quite happy. I bolted mine in originally then had someone weld them later. You want the car to be as level and straight as possible when they get welded. It gave the car more stability.
