A bit disingenuous ploy on this company's part is to tell you of their 30 percent discount and suggesting that if your order exceeds 89 dollars or some such figure, that shipping will be no charge. It is when you check out that you are informed that you have the choice of either the discount or the free shipping. Yes I admit that I missed the small print when placing my order that free shipping only applies if you are not getting any 'other' deals.
You are continually informed as you fill out your order, that if you order any more items to take you to that magic number,,,89 bucks in this case,,,that shipping will be free.
My recent order came only to some 110 dollars, weighs less than 5 pounds for a couple of radiator hoses. Shipping came in at 25 bucks. Almost 25 percent of the order.
This is not the way that Amazon or Autogeek or a wealth of less clever company's operate. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and just call it deceptive at best.
Be careful out there, it's a jungle.
