Hello Joshking 440,

That's some fair lift to only have 248 at 50. Pressurized pump gasser can I assume? What et are you shooting for?

Josh,
Keep up the great work! Nice to see that it's coming together!
On the color choice,I am partial to blue, but their seems to be a lot of blue 70-74 a-bodies around.I think black would stand out more.(Good luck keeping it clean though).
Keep us updated
Keith

Im concerned with splitting a lot of things...cylinders, cranks, rods, axles, transmissions...

I do know that the December Hot Rod has a procharged lowdeck in it and they made 1400 horse and I know for a fact that that motor saw TONS of dyno pulls...the only problem they had was cap walk which was never mentioned. I hope I got rid of that problem with the girdle and aluminum rods and caps...

The supercharger store has made 1700hp with a stock block, but they broke a rod when the motor detonated because of an fuel injection issue...

Im going to try to make 1000 at the rear tires once, then tune it back. Hopefully she holds...

Well close, E-85 with some boost in there somewhere. I dont have a ET that I am shooting for. I would like to see a 8 second run but Im not sure if that is going to happen on those tires...

Im not knocking your build at all, sounds very nice. But...
sounds like you have a ton of money in just the block, why didnt you just get a aftermarket Iron one? You would half to have near what a new one would cost.

BTW
I would love to build a Big inch Mopar on boost...I will be looking forward to your progress.

Trust me I understand where you are coming from...

This all started as a nice little 500" budget build and then

I already had rods and crank. only needed pistons...then the girdle....I looked at getting a aftermarket lowdeck from Indy, but $4500 just didnt fit in the budget, and to buy more rods and another crank for an aftermarket steel block...

So as the build progressed I ended up with a very budget minded grenade that may just never go off...
