I am about to mount my TA Cheetah Shifter and I am trying to figure out the best place for the cable to go through the floor. I was wondering if the hole for the shift cable should be directly in front of the shifter or if I could get the cable to flex a little of to the passenger side.

If you could post anypictures I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

it's not going to flex a lot where it comes off of the shifter. why do you need to do that? it only needs about an 1/2" hole.

I am just trying to figure out the best way to go about doing this. I have never been around a shifter like this.

just position the shifter where you want it and drill a small hole at the end where the cable will go through. I will see if I can get a pic this after noon. look at my post on protecting front exit shifter cables. it will show you how to do the cable underneath.

I was just reading over your post about protecting the shift cables when you posted the link. Those pictures help out a ton! I like the way you ran the cable through the crossmember and looped around that way. I was thinking that I was going to have trouble coming down the passenger side of the transmission and in between the pan and cross member.
