I think Turbo Action in Florida had something a few years ago to do it. I was going to do a combo of Hobbs vacuum switches and MSD rpm chip controls on my Challenger to put in an A500 trans I had done for it. Never got a chance to do it. I lost the car due to a wild fire in 07. Had to evacuate so car was left behind. The vacuum switches will help sense engine load to work in conjunction with the rpm activation. Check out MSD, they may have something to use that might be a little more high tech. When I was going to do mine, it was like 10+ years ago. The other thing I thought of was just doing two switches to control the trans. I figured I would get a steering wheel from Grant, Sparco etc to mount a couple of push button momentary switches to operate a couple of relays for activation of up/down/od on/od off and just activate as I needed. You do need to have something to activate the trans otherwise it will head right to od/lockup when you are not ready.

Thx, CNXT! very clear manual on building a automatic LU/OD for the car! Did your trans had A Vehicle Speed Sensor or the conventional speed cable?
