Hi there, just wondering how often people change high performance spark plug wires?

when they go bad for me, I usually get bout two years out of the msd i'm trying the morose now wave

I check them w/ a meter every once in a while. I've had my 409's for 14 years and they're back on my engine now.


Yeah, it's got a smallblock.

It depends on a lot of things, how much you drive or race the car, how many times you remove the plugs from the motor and which type ignition and fuel you use shruggy I've had to replace expensive racing plug wires that ohm good but missed bad on the race car shockshruggyWhen in doubt(when having problems) change them out thumbs twocents

My last set of Taylors were on at least 15 years.They were still working but looked bad and when I washed them it would miss a bit.Cant complain about that.We run them on everything.Had them on the 57 all the way up to the 80s Ram truck.Still run extras we had on the Harleys.Rocky

My MSD wires are close to 10 years old. I checked the ohms last year and they checked out fine. Ran a new best a couple months ago.

Most all quality plug wire will do the job.If your looking to replace them try the Firecores.We use and recommend them and as far as price,quality and service there's none better. up bow
