Thanks jcc!

With the front spoiler you are probably right!
I didn't design it though and is really is just an ABS copy of the fiberglass ones which are a copy of the 1970 TransAm `Cuda spoiler.
It is still somewhat effective because without it installed my hood lifts up at about 70mph.

Hey Mike!
I got a set of 4. I always go square for more neutral handling and the ability to rotate tires.
My 295's don't need replacing yet and honestly would rather have that size but they are now discontinued.
Kind of forced to see how 315's fit and it should fit fine with a 10.5" wheel. A wider wheel would give me problems.
I won't know for sure until I get the actual tire so I am doing this for the sake of research.
haha!

He is 315's at all corners. That qualifies as badass in my book.

My 315's came in!

Unmounted they measure at about 12-3/4" across

and are about 25-1/4" tall unmounted.

They look a lot wider than the 295's

There should be just enough room to fit the rears.

For the fronts it looks like a tighter fit

I am going to have to raise the ride height and add more negative camber to make the 315's fit but it should not be a problem.

Here is a comparison with the 295's vs 315's for reference. The 295's are BFG KDWS tires but measure the same as the 295 Rivals.
They are both 11-1/2" wide when mounted on a 10.5" wheel.

The 315's are about 1-1/4" wider. So when mounted I estimate they will gain about 5/8" per side vs. the 295's

Rylis -- 315s all around is awesome!!! Make them fit... do whatever you have to... (IMO... since your car isn't a factory original numbers matching can't drive it may get injured, too much collectable isms..... just modify the fenders as needed... they can be made to look and appear stock with careful massaging, etc).

Then... re-learn how to drive the car and to take advantage of the added rubber.... it'll take some brief time... but you'll be super satisfied! In my area, there are increasingly more Camaros and Fbirds, and late model Mustangs... running 315s f/r. BUT... the bottom line is still the driver.

Mopwer to ya!

Looks like need to add more caster to my setup which will help with the needed neg camber.
I will not be able to mount these for a while though as the the 295's have a lot of life still left so I bagged up the 315's for now.

I wish they still made the 295's it would have made everything simpler haha!
At least I can push the envelope and maybe help others how to mount the widest possible tires on their own Mopars

Hey Mike,
It's good you are getting the motor and tranny in as the final ride height of the car is critical when getting front wheel measurements.
I think a 10.5" wheel is the widest we can run with the Hotchkis setup. Any wider and you run into the bump steer spacers. You could take them out but would have to deal with more bump steer.

For the rears it looks like the 315's will touch the leaf spring on the passenger rear but I can probably use a 3mm spacer and be fine.

I can still bring my wheels with 295's and help you measure
just let me know!
