I want to do an R/T, but we'll see. I'm just now getting the Bee driveable. Maybe that will give me something to keep my left foot occupied while I work on something else. But anyway, it really looks great!

Thanks.

Man, there's an M code Dart for sale on this site. Awfully tempting

Problem is there's not many in our hobby that would plunk down 58K for an A body even if it's an M code. he'd do better by running through the auction market. There's an upswing of interest there for former drag cars.

Well, I was able to complete the car before heading down to Mesa. There's a few items that need to be tighened up but the major issues have been resolved. Hopefully I'll be back up the first of November to load the car up and bring it to it's new home.

No, it's the picture. I bought one of Vans grills. Pretty nice grill, just a few flaws. I get the finish panel back this week. Had an outfit in San Clemente, CA do the work.

I picked up the original spare and wheel last week. I also got back the finish panel. Haven't opened the box yet

If you noticed the mars in the paint it appears the original owner may have tried to place a hubcap on the wheel. Given the mars in the paint he may have tried to put an original simulated mag cover. Who knows shruggy The car originally came with steel wheels. At one time the car had Keystones.

The guy that I got the wheel from has the sister GTS to mine. When he bought the car he found the yellow wheel in the trunk.

The two Darts, the blue and yellow were owned by a brother and sister. We think the blue car had a flat and the brother put his yellow spare on the car. When they fixed the original wheel they just put the yellow spare back in the trunk.

Unfortunately when I got the car it had SBP rally wheels so no telling where the original wheels went

Here's the tail panel. Overall they did a good job considering the condition of the panel. Theres a couple of small flaws which I was already aware of. If they would of worked those any more they may of had to deal with a big mess gGven I didn't have a spare in case the original was too far gone. That salt air really wreaks aluminum

The pictures do look like the grill is painted like a base model. The GT and GTS grills are mostly black. It would be an easy fix though.

Here's my convertible when I bought it. Some of the grill paint has been worn away but you can see it's mostly black. There are four rectangular sections along with the center horizontal area that are bare.

Well, made the trip up to Yakganistan to fetch the GTS last week. Pretty uneventfull with the exception of running into snow in Ely nevada. Pretty much did some final things and loaded it up. Got back last night and unloaded this morning

Well, it's been awhile since I last posted on the car. When I got it down here in 2015 it wasn't quite finished. The only major mechanical things in the works were a rear and axle change along with some others odds and ends. Have the restored wiper motor in as well as the restored Wiper arms and blades

So, last week I finished the rear and axle swap. Now running brand new axles and a complete fresh 741 case with 3.55s

While driving down the road I noticed a wing window fuzzies were missing. I dug up my old assembly list and apparently I ordered them but they were on back order. Dug all through my stuff and came up empty. So I'll have to place an order this week.

In the meantime I need to put some miles on the car. I've been to several cruise-ins with the car and getiing a lot of compliments
