Al,
I can ask John Baughman anything you want to know about the car. Just Let me know. I talk with those guys pretty often. I actually have the shortblock out of the car wthat he ran years ago with the 6-pack, and can get the heads too.
Later
Hope this helps

70 CUDA HISTORY

1970 SS/DA Hemi Cuda , this car started out as an original 440 six pack car
(black with red interior and 4 speed), and was converted to a NHRA super stock
car very early in its life. It was initially ran as a hemi car then many years
with the 440 six pack, and then a hemi reinstalled by Mark Dumer who ran it
with his wife in Chrysler Classic events until I purchased the Cuda.

This is the ex Kent Ritter and John Baughman race car. I have tracked it's
racing history back to 1973 when Joe Umbra raced the car with a Tim Richards hemi
in it. It is believed that Tim may have also owned the car but not verified at
this time. Joe sold the car to Bob Kaiser(photo attached) and then Kent Ritter
purchased it around 1976.

The car is a Past National Event(Grandnationals) and multi time SS/FA class winner
(including Indy). Also multi time SS/FA & SS/GA record holder(NHRA and IHRA). It
even held both records simultaneously when John Baughman had it. Photos included
of the car when it was in the Direct Connection catalogs in past years.

Currently the Cuda has a 60 over Hemi in it, with Barton Heads, Barton/Mike Bogina
Modified intake, and Turner/BSJ modified carter carbs. The Cuda also has a
Frank Lupo tranny and convertor. Best run at legal SS/DA weight is 10.06 at 133
at the last NHRA Division 5 race of the year. The car also participated in the
Hemi Reunion at Quaker City.

Chrome Moly Certified Cage with 4 link and Dana. Best 60 foot was 1.278 when
John Baughman had it. Lamb Front Disc Brakes/Strange Rear, with Koni rear shocks.
Other super stock tricks on car too.

It's a bigblock with a torque flight!!!

Host the pics someplace like Photobucket and just paste the links in your text. Doing them as attachments means ONE pic at a time...

I received some info from the current owner. Seems to be a car with a history for sure, not sure that is what I am after though. I am really just looking for a nice clean Stock or possibly SS car. I thought for the money it may be a possibility.

I don't know the current owner, but I know the car from John and also Mark, and both of them raced and maintained the car very well. The car is a well built and consistant car. And it always run the numbers. Like I said though, I'm don't know the current owner or what he may have done with the car since he bought it.
Good luck, and definetley consider the car if you are in the market for this type of car.

And BTW; He has it on RJ for less money or could be bought rolling. Says he's getting married,

You cannot "attach" multtiple pics. They must be hosted and then linked W/ a UBB code to make them appear.

If you want, I can host them for you or I can show you how to do it.
