Fuel injected now ... Leave it to me .. Rubber bumpers dont come cheap ... FI doesn't matter, it's still hard on the thrust bearing. There's a reason Chrysler did not use them in the 60s and then again in the 80s...I'd fab up a neutral switch on the shifter before I'd ever run a clutch switch...BUT I've never felt the need for one, especially after losing a thrust bearing in a 273 many years ago...

Just run a wire from starter relay to ground, or get a pre '70 manual trans starter relay for the cleanest look. My '08 JK Wrangler has a clutch switch and I'm glad for it. And I never had an issue with the T. O. Bearing on my Bee with the clutch switch so will be reinstalling it just because it's supposed to be there. If you're not using the reverse lockout, just pull it into neutral before putting in the key. Starter relay to ground works for me for both clutch and NSS. Agree why do you need it?

After reading all the posts and reading your responses it only makes sense for you to pony up the money and buy the switch.
When I do a motor for a car with a clutch I modify the thrust bearing bearing so it pushes a pressurized oil stream back on that surface just for the concerns some have stated above.
running up my post count some more .
