Just seems odd that he stopped his story 4 days ago!

Hate to sound selfish because I miss reading his tale.

It takes a lot of time to write like that. He probably puts 2-3 hours into each instalment. Plus you have to be in the mood for it. He's probably busy. He'll be back when he has one ready.

A couple of things happened on DW15. First, I was blown away by how many people read the story, not just Moparts guys, not just DW guys, not just Americans. It's flattering, and I'm extremely grateful, but the realization came with a little pressure too! Second, some of my closest critics accused me of mailing it in last year...The quote was something like, "every other year you write a good story, on the off years, you just seem to post a bunch of pictures and one liners...". Just like our cars, I want to improve, get better, and perform at a high level. With so much stuff about Hot Rod Drag Week on the internet, it's obvious my tale isn't going to be the first out there, so I want to dig a little deeper, make sure the details are there and accurate, and do the legwork to make sure I'm not wasting the reader's time.

OK I was a little worried thats all!

If you are improving the tale, sounds good to me.

Don't listen to your brothers,dad and daughter.LOL.How you can recall all that happens on DW is amazing. This year it seemed the brothers were actually getting stuff done before you showed up.WTH?

No matter how good you do at something, there will always be critics. Don't worry about trying to achieve perfection for the sake of the critics. Your story's are great, but you don't owe it to any one. Like Drag Week, writing the story is a hobby and a labor of love. Do it in the way that makes you happy!

You're in the backyard of Dragweek Weekend..... WHAT SAY YE!!

I want to do it so bad Jay, but I've burned up too much Vacation already. I was disappointed when they called it Drag Weekend, then set up Wednesday as Registration, and scheduled the start for Thursday. That's more than just a weekend, and I still want to attend SCSN this year...
I may still take Friday off, and drive out WHRP to say hi to the gang, and shoot some pics.
