Does anyone have any pictures of an unrestored Dana 60 from an E-Body? I'm looking for the details by the cover.

I'm trying to determine if the "Limited Slip" tag was painted with the rear end, or if it was added afterwards and therefore did not have any paint on it.

Also, was the plastic plug painted with the rear end?

Thanks!

Thanks for the pictures. So, it looks like the rear end is painted, then the limited slip lube tag is added afterwards, then the bolt head is painted yellow.

For that particular car yes, but your best trying to determine/investigate what's on your car, if traces are present?, as builds varied plant to plant, even day to day on the same line, nothing is written in stone regarding these cars, but general pics, original or restored can at least establish a general guideline,...to further your request, posting the year/build date/plant location of your vehicle can help narrow down particularities that may be present with various build periods/plants or model lines

Thanks, Mike.

Here's some pariculars of my car:

1970 Cuda
Scheduled to be build on Nov 25th
It is an L.A. Car

Any extra info, or reference pictures from a car with similar build plant/tiomeframe would be great.

Rob

Thanks guys! That's exactly what I needed!!

By the way, have any of you seen a Cuda Dana car without the larger frame rail bumpers installed from the factory? I have the smaller bumpers and according to one of the original owners, they have never been changed. I have an automatic and was wondering if the larger bumpers were only for 4-speeds. Thoughts?

Jim,

Would the taller be the 3" bumper?

I also saw that in the parts book, but I wasn't sure if that was one of those "discrepancies" between how the cars were actually built vs. the intended build. Typically, I take the the parts book as the guide for correctness. However, I thought it would be best to ask those that actually have the cars to compare to what I have.
