I have to disagree with you. My car had the pulley failure and the steering was tougher that ANY vehicle I have ever driven when the power assist went out. I'm not saying the guy in CO wasn't screwing around, but after experiencing this myself, that is a possibility of why he lost control.

And for the record, the Hellcats do have hydraulic power assist, there is a fluid reservoir. My mom's '11 Charger has electric power steering.

The S65 sells for over $200,000. The target market is 75 year olds. They aren't really hard on drivetrains. Have you ever seen an S65 do a burnout? The target market on a hellcat is a guy who is going to run the crap out of that thing. I can't imagine them giving a 100,000 mile warranty on those. I visualize warranty claims in their future.

The only Hellcat issue that I have is that I cannot afford one wink

Didn't learn anything there. The target audience is what it is. I still feel Hellcats will have driveline warranty claims.

Yes, they will have drieline warranty issues. However, the differential is not likely to be a common fault. That is significant because of the cost involved.

It looks like the AMG differentials. The most obvious difference is in the hanging heat sink.
