Can it be done? I've got a hand me down set of new E-body leafs with a 22" front segment and 35" rear segment?

I assume its all in the rear hanger? Can it be moved an inch more forward?

actually they make a front hanger to allow it to work.
andyf makes them I think and firm feel sells them.
I have a set on my car to use ebody springs.

OR
I suppose you could redrill your hangers to push the hole out 1 inch if there is enough meat.

I assume we're talking a 66-70 B body here... If that is the case, I don't understand how that could work, if you adjusted for it in the front hanger you would be moving the wheels back 1 inch. Do you have a link for these hangers?

OP there are kits to move your shackles forward 1 inch that are designed for using an A body S/S spring on a B body. This kit would do what you need and allow you to run the E body spring, but it requires cutting and welding. I'd suggest that you just get some B body springs.

I was trying to save a buck, but it ends up being that you need to spend $100 to do that.

I received a set of springs from an E-body friend. He said that he bought them for his Charger, but it was long ago. They look like XHD style springs.

I was ready to buy the 66-70 B body springs from Mopar and reuse my existing hangers to do so, but then I remembered that I had these.

I wont spend $100 to save $200. I'll buy the right springs.

I guess I wasn't thinking. I have a 65, and they make hangers to use ebody springs. I just forgot the 66 and up were totally different.
he doesn't show any for 66 and up, just 62-65.

Gotcha. That makes sense for a '65, the '65s use a 21 inch front segment and 35 inch rear segment I believe, so a shorter hanger would allow a 22 inch front segment with the 35 inch rear segment that both the '65 B and the E body uses. wave
