I bought the K3 kit from PATC with a 10" converter and a Fairbanks shift kit. We set the Fairbanks kit to street/strip. I have finally had time to get it installed. I went to the track last night and on full throttle 1st to 2nd shifts at 5400. Now this is where I need help. It will not shift out of 2nd unless I lift off the gas. But then as soon as I put it back to the floor it kicks back down to 2nd. Driving it on the street it does ok on the shifting because I'm not running full throttle. Any help will be greatly appreciated, I have a points race this weekend.

Loosen the TP linkage/cable so that the trans lever is not so far lack at WOT.

Thank you very much John. I moved it to about half way and it shifts into 3rd at WOT. The only problem now is it does not shift too well when driving normal on the street. I will keep trying different locations on the cable to see what works best.
