I was wondering if anyone out here in the west knew and/or registered for this event?, went online this morning, 8-29-15.
The event is Oct 29-31, starts at Tuscon, then to Phoenix then ends at Fontana, that's where it differs from DW,doesn't end at kickoff track.
I got in, running Super Street big block naturally aspirated, being in Cali, I plan to tow to Tuscon, have a buddy take trailer and meet in Fontana.

1966 Barracuda 360,now a 5spd,Hemi Orange,Hot Rod Air,
New daily driver-2003 Ram 2500 Cummins 5.9
'69 Valiant 2-dr, sleeper!
New project---1938 Dodge truck, plan is a 360 with a A500, AC, Calvert rear susp., rack and pinion front with coils.

I hope it gets a good turnout. The west coasters are always vocal about drag week being so far east. This is a good time to get a sample.

The biggest issue out here in the lack of tracks, very spread out.
I tried this year to register for DW, obviously didn't get in like many others.
The issue of not returning to kickoff track will be a problem, still hope enough sign up so they will have it again next year, but make it return.

I have a customer from Calvert Racing that entered in the same class as me, he has a '69 Camaro, he ran DW last year but didn't get in this year.
I actually just talked to him and neither of us are aware if anyone one else signed up, I would assume there has, like I told him, gotta wonder if it gets canceled if not enough entries.
