My car only fits into Pro or Street class.

So either I am flying down and maybe racing a rental or I am playing with all you boys in Pro. If someone wants to look into trying to reserve some pit spots that would be cool.

I'm going, but unless they open a pink elephant class I'll be just making passes. My car will only cert now for an 8.50, so I don't think that'll cut it for the Q16, and trying to run S/P will be a joke since I have no electronics, or skill in the field.

I wanted to run the MM street deal, but E85 isn't a legal fuel.

Anyone know the closest E85 station near the strip?

scrambling to get my car together,which is actually going well,untill this post jinxs me. it's been 3 years since i last raced, went 12.0's then hoping for low 10's this time.

I just dropped my Duster off at the chassis shop this morning for the roll bar/frame connectors.

When I get it back still needs fuel system and
electrical wiring.

Hope to have it all done and a shake down pass

Oh, on motels. Super 8 by Nellis AFB still had
rooms available. Thur $65, Fri/Sat $110 a night.

The host hotel The Cannary/Casino was sold out
on rooms just after last years race @ $185 a night.

I`m actually considering going since I`ve never been to that event and heard it`s awesome. Can I just do some t&t or do I have to enter a class? THANKXX.......

Is this race run by an outside promoter? There is a lot of post on classracer about LVMS not paying money due for months. Pay purses by mailed check? They would go bankrupt back here.

the payment from LVMS problem is related to IRS forms not being filled out properly...

I filled out the forms..and get a check about a week later...

At Mats payment will come from promoter, but I've never had an issue getting paid by either the promoter or the track, when i win anyway, have raced there without payment but it wasn't their fault I didn't win any money. Last year I didn't want to wait around at MATS for the money, and it did take a few weeks to get paid, but not a big deal.

Hey Larry, what kind of stocker are you building? New one from scratch? Did you buy one? Would guess it is a small block?
