My Father in law called me today, he has a 06 Hemi ram with 50K miles on it. He has been getting a CEL on occasion and now it is on solid. The auto parts store pulled the code for him and came up with the code for EGR valve so he bought one and wants me to change. I looked at a few things online, looks very easy I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any hidden BS involved LOL. Easy Evening swap? Thanks!

It's as simple as can be. Our original lasted 55K miles, got the replacement from Cara Quest for 38 bucks and now the durango has 115K miles on it now. I betting it's time for another one soon? The 38 dollar Car quest one has lasted longer than the original mopar one. By the time you ,mess around on the computer you could have had it done by now.

I changed mine a couple years back, it isn't even a one beer job.

Hmmm I might have to take it easy and not rush it then LOL
Thanks for the replies, i will go snag it from him some evening this week and swap that valve.
