I thought I would share a pic of something that I'll be receiving in a few weeks for my R5/P7 project (Along with my block etc) I've ordered a R5 to GM trans adapter that also serves as a mid plate. I'll also be ordered a Meziere Flex plate for an R5. I am quite excited! AL...

I still have some of my W8 stuff to sell off, the R5/P7 stuff just flat out makes more power than the wedge stuff.
It will be interesting to see how it all goes, and Rick is working on more and more parts to make this conversion easier AL...

The first one he got or just the XR2 Blocks in general?
The XR2 project engine I believe he is working on in between other work and the production blocks are slowly starting to trickle through now. I'd have to check back with him to be sure. AL...

I know you were working with him on your motor, I would have figured you were getting a XR -2 block for your combination.

I'm doing a smaller engine, starting with a 358 and then probably as small as 270-280 CI down the track. The R5 would be better suited to that. I can really deck the block down and get the block in the middle 8's for the deck height. AL...
