Haven't seen to many of these around lately. I have put in a rebuilt 64 426 sreet wedge, with a fresh 727, It has 4 wheel disk brakes on it. needs some trim and rear quarter panels if i can find them. also need some steel engine mount pieces that bolt to the engine. Home made as of now. This car has been setting behind a barn since the early 90's. I Figure it's worth saving.

Cool!

I saved my '63 330 from sitting next to a barn in the mid 90's.

Early B's are my favorite Mopes.

Great looking project car!

'64 Dodges are really starting to grow on me. I would love to have one!

polara408 has a 64 Polara and a 64 Dodge 440...right now I believe he's working on the 440...current plans include an R5/P7 engine for it with a stick... LOVE those cars!

Just got signed up here, already have seen lots of great stuff. This '64 Polara project is too cool! Keep on it, and you are right: not many (or enough) '64s out there on the roads lately!

If you're talking about stock type engine mounts, you can get them from Schumacher's... www.engine-swaps.com. That's what's holding up the 426 wedge in my 64 Polara and they fit perfect.

I had a red version of one like that, I swear it had 300,000 miles on it when the front end finally gave out, our family put over 200,000 miles on it, a friend of mine put the rest.

318 Poly, was never fast, but it ran really nice and smooth. Motor and tranny survived longer than the body. Neither were ever opened up for work.

Is that primer or hot rod black paint?
